My special inspection program follows the program outlined by the Model Program for Special Inspection based on the 2009 IBC Chapter 17®. As the special inspector, I am directed to follow the most current, approved and stamped job site plans and specifications relevant to the project. I acknowledge the requirements of the special inspection program and am aware of the qualifications that are essential for the Special Inspector. Currently, with 18 years’ experience, I retain the code knowledge, plan reading competency, experience, and performance standards that are needed to successfully develop and perform relevant inspections during the stages of construction for your projects. My interests are to assist construction personnel in ensuring for the owner and you, the owner representative, that all construction requiring Special Inspections on projects are constructed to applicable codes and to the approved plans and specifications.
