AccuVein has a contract with the GSA. AccuVein develops simple solutions to improve vascular access outcomes for patients undergoing IV therapy, venous access procedures, or other treatments. The company has developed the only class 1, real-time, laser-based device that uses near-infrared (NIR) to help clinicians see superficial veins, valves, and bifurcations for better-informed decision making and accurate needle placement. When clinicians use an AccuVein device for pre-insertion assessment, they can rapidly identify optimal vein targets. This not only dramatically increases first attempt success and reduces escalation calls, but it also helps ensure that catheters last for the duration of therapy. With its patented True Center™ technology, AccuVein is the first and only vein visualization device that is permanently aligned and does not require calibration, allowing clinicians to accurately view the centerline of the vein with each use.
