Founded in January 2024, AK Hydro LLC (AK Hydro) was established with a focus on the assessment and rehabilitation of dams, levees, and water resource structures. Before starting AK Hydro, our founders worked together at Michael Baker International, where they led and help develop the dams services into a nationally-recognized practice. AK Hydro provides a comprehensive range of dam safety services, including inspections and assessments, subsurface exploration planning, engineering analysis, alternative evaluations, cost estimating, master planning, development of construction documents, permitting, and construction administration and oversight.
