Rao Research and Consulting, LLC is a research, innovation, and technology transfer company serving in the broad area of transportation facilities. We develop advanced processes and products for federal, state, and local clients to improve system performance and increase the service lives of highway transportation infrastructure. Our project findings and deliverables are based on sound technical concepts, and validated with field, experimental, and case studies data. Our experience is in research and technology transfer in the field of transportation facilities covering areas of materials, pavement analysis and design, bridges, performance modeling, AI applications, QA, nondestructive testing, and value engineering. Our research portfolio includes projects supported by the FHWA, NCHRP, FAA, State DOTs, and industry organizations. We’ve conducted seminal analytical and experimental research advancing the knowledge domain and have directly supported implementation by practitioners.
